• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SAS, and Mainframes principles/concepts
• Proficiency in simple and complex SQL queries
• Ability to write intermediate SQL queries
• Understanding of automation testing principles; some exposure desirable
• Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable pieces and understand relationships between components
• Application of basic relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys, SQL, and DB2 queries)

• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
• Ability to share information, write, and speak concisely
• Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Takes ownership and responsibility for assigned work
